Look, we tout our craft beer selection a lot and no, we’re not going to apologize for it. We also feel pretty strongly about our revamped lunch and dinner menu in the Bistro. (BTW it’s pretty solid.)

So let’s combine these two levels of amazing and give some recommendations to pair our food with our beer.

First and foremost, our signature burgers and our wings are delicious with ale. Tröegs Hop Knife Harvest Ale and Oskar Blues Old Chub NITRO Scotch Ale are probably the two best pairings currently on tap. Both of these beers are fabulous on their own, too.

If you’re intrigued by our spicy duck flatbread, you should be. Snag one of the previous beers mentioned or opt for something a little fruity. Perhaps, Jailbreak B. Limey Key Lime Pale Ale or their Carrot Cake Conspiracy. They’re local and just up the road from Old Line in Laurel. Try them here and go check out the brewery on your way home! Additionally, you could take on the Union Black Eyed Saison with the flatbread or pair it with any one of our salads.

Eyeing any of our fare from the sea? Get a hold of the Victory hop Ticket Dry Hopped Pilsner and take on the crab cake sandwich, fish tacos, or seared scallops. You’re welcome.

Anything grilled – whether it’s the NY Strip, Grilled Chicken Caesar, Steak Ciabatta, etc. – try a stout. Right now Stone Brewing’s Coffee Milk Stout is on tap and worthy of your time.

The long and short of it is this: if something intrigues you or it’s a style of beer you like, get it and enjoy it. You’re not going to be turned off based on your personal food and beer pairing. It’s OK to stick with the things you like, as long as you’re willing to give new things a try and expanding beyond big beverage light beer (it’s practically water anyway).
