So by now everyone knows we love offering pint nights, free tastings and other delicious events at Old Line and in the Bistro.

With that said, can you imagine how stoked we are when we can do all of those things in collaboration with local breweries and distilleries?

Coming up on Thursday, April 2, we have just that from 5-8 p.m. Old Line will host a DC Brau pint night as well as a free tasting of Green Hat Gin.

Our neighbors in DC will pour a very limited batch of their popular On The Wings of Armageddon Imperial IPA aged in Green Hat gin barrels. It’s definitely going to be a DC-themed night!

DC Brau will also have their brand new collaboration with Oskar Blues (Longmont, CO) on tap: Smells Like Freedom IPA. DC Brau’s flagship Corruption IPA will also be available on nitro!

Smells Like Freedom is a one-time-only beer inspired by both Colorado and Washington D.C.’s relaxed marijuana laws. Both parties brewed this beer at their respective breweries. Described as a hop bomb with a massive taste profile, this unique IPA also includes a cannabis aroma. No worries though, nobody used actual cannabis during the brew process to create the psychedelic aroma.

Don’t forget about the FREE gin tasting (we hear the best alcohol is free alcohol). John Uselton, a co-founder of DC-based Green Hat, will be at Old Line sampling and talking gin for anyone who’d like to try it.
