Pumpkin Beers are Here in Beltsville!

Well, actually, truth told Old Line has had an assortment of pumpkin beers in stock since early-mid August. That’s what we’re all subject to now with seasonal creep in the craft beer industry.

We’ll make do and enjoy these pumpkin beers on our own schedule. Come in and stock up on a few six packs and bombers and drink them at your leisure. With so many offerings each season it’s hard to try them all. Southern Tier’s Pumking and Warlock are sure to be gone soon. A few local and regional offerings include Dogfish Head Punkin Ale, Starr Hill Boxcarr Pumpkin Porter, Flying Dog The Fear, Devil’s Backbone Pumpkin Hunter (formerly known as Ichabod Crandall), Pub Dog’s Monster’s Mash, EVO Jacque Au Lantern, and Full Tilt Patterson Pumpkin.

Seriously, this is one of the craziest (and best) times of year for beer. Fall offerings are also starting to hit the shelves right alongside these spiced and flavored pumpkin beers. Don’t put off picking up some of these as the more popular ones will be gone by the time you’re ready to drink them. Be sure to store your bottles properly – standing upright and in a cool, dark place.

Not sick of pumpkin everything? Some other offerings currently seen amongst the shelves of Old Line: Shipyard’s Smashed Pumpkin and Pumpkinhead, Schlafly Pumpkin Ale, Nebraska Wick for Brains, Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin, Harpoon UFO, Cisco Pumple Drumkin, Terrapin Pumpkinfest, Traveler’s Jack-o-Traveler, as well as pumpkin ales by Long Trail, Blue Point, and Wolaver’s.

Don’t see what you’re looking for listed here? Stop on in or give us a call.

The Bistro will tap Dogfish Head’s Punkin Ale and Southern Tier’s infamous Pumking alongside a few others. Additionally, mark your calendars for the 2nd annual Pumpkin Beer Fest! It’s happening on Saturday, October 25 from 1-6 p.m. with live music, a pig roast, and corn hole. $10 at the door includes one 16oz pour of a special firkin edition of Flying Dog’s The Fear Imperial Pumpkin Ale.
